Deine Aufgaben

Realisierung von kreativen Projekten als VFX-Artist mit Schwerpunkt CGI-Compositing – hier trägst Du Verantwortung für die Kreativität und Qualität Deiner Projekte.
Enge Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Creative Directors und Department-Heads, dem Produktionsteam und unseren Kund*innen.
On-Set Supervision und Zusammenarbeit mit unseren Studio- und SFX-Teams.
Stetiger Ausbau Deines Toolsets, Weiterentwicklung Deiner Fähigkeiten und Deines Wissens.

Das bringst Du mit

Kreativität, Liebe zum Detail und ein gutes Auge.
5+ Jahre Berufserfahrung als Nuke Compositing Artist.
fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse in CG-Rendering und Compositing von Multi-Channel-EXRs.
technisches Verständnis von Postproduction Tools und Workflows (z.B. Aces, Da Vinci Resolve, Flame, After Effects, …).
Überblick über und Interesse an neuen Tools und AI.
Organisationstalent und Lust (perspektivisch) ein Team zu führen.
eine positive Persönlichkeit und Spaß an der Zusammenarbeit mit Kund*innen und unserem Team.
gute Sprachkenntnisse in Deutsch- und Englisch.
EU-Staatsbürgerschaft oder eine bestehende deutsche Arbeitserlaubnis.

Über uns

The Marmalade ist das Visual Advertising Studio in Hamburg. Ein Team aus über 60 Kreativen und Technikbegeisterten entwickelt high-end Visuals für Marken weltweit. Bei The Marmalade ist alles unter einem Dach vereint: von der Entwicklung von visuellen Marken-Kampagnen, über Live-Action- und Tabletop-Drehs in unseren drei Film-Studios, der Umsetzung von high-end vfx bis hin zu eigenen Musikkompositionen und professioneller Vertonung. Your tasks

technical and creative direction, support, and development of our four-person compositing team
ensuring high quality creative image design within our compositing team
close collaboration with our creative directors and department heads, our production team and our clients
realization of creative projects as VFX artist with focus on CGI compositing
on-set supervision and collaboration with our studio and SFX teams
continuous expansion of your toolset, development of new skills and knowledge

You should bring

creativity, attention to detail and a good eye
3+ years of professional experience as Nuke Compositing Artist / VFX Supervisor
advanced knowledge of CG rendering and compositing multi-channel EXRs
technical understanding of postproduction tools and workflows (e.g. Aces, Da Vinci Resolve, Flame ...)
overview over and interest in new tools
pipeline design experience is a plus
organizational talent and the desire to lead a team
a positive personality and interest in working with customers and the team
very good written and spoken English, good German skills are a plus
EU citizenship or an existing German work permit
